Lomography Home of the Day - badjuju
Katie came to us after she almost drowned in a pond and suffered from Hypothermia. The vet determined that she does suffer some minor brain damage but we aren’t sure if she was born with it or if it was from the hypothermia. She is a VERY sweet little girl who loves to be held and cuddled. She would be happy if she could just lay in your arms all day. She does cry like a Siamese but not really loud and not all the time. Mostly when she is around your feet and wants you to pick her up or pay attention to her. She is good with dogs and cats and would do best in a home without small children.
Her brain issue cause her no problems and the vet thinks she will live a long and normal life as any cat would. But her slight issues are that she does cry and get under foot when she wants attention and does go where ever she wants whenever she wants. (as many cats do anyway) She doesn’t get the concept of NO and spray bottles don’t seem to faze her at all. She also has no concept of doors and will run for it full speed! She absolutely needs to be an inside kitty for her entire life due to her brain issues so we want her to be placed in a home where someone lives in a Apt. or Condo so if she gets out the front door she will be in a hallway and not directly on the street. Another option maybe someone that has a house with a front porch entry with a door separating the front of the house.
She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead and is negative for FIV/Leukemia. Katie was born approx October 2010
